Description of that level
Dr. Cossack is the villain this time! This level, made in Mega Man Maker 1.8, is the second stage in Round 3 of my Classic-style Stages.
2 things first: yes, it is another Charge Man stage, and it is really hard. Near the end of my creation of Round 2, I realized that there would not be enough Robot Masters to make very many Rounds of stages, and I would eventually have to reuse some. So I decided that, starting with Round 3, I would reuse Robot Masters for some stages. For Round 3, exactly half of the Robot Masters were reused, and 4 were new.
This stage is HARD. There are 3 pixel-perfect jumps in this stage, all near the end, with no checkpoints. Bass is recommended as soon as you see him, if you can pass the first pixel-perfect jump. A tip is to get half of Mega Man's left foot off the edge, then jump and move right at the same time. It's very tricky, but I also think that gives this stage a unique feel.
After the first Charge Man Stage, I really wanted to do one where he was on an actual train like in MM5. I had always thought that the train in MM5 was just too big though, so this one I think worked out really well. I decided early on during the making of this stage that the gaps between cars had to be 4 blocks, and each train car had an odd amount of pairs of wheels. I hope you - the person reading this - enjoy my level.
