Description of that level
Dr. Cossack is the villain this time! This level, made in Mega Man Maker 1.8, is the first stage in Round 3 of my Classic-style Stages.
I decided to make Bass the character swap for this Round, and have Dr. Cossack stages too. The thing about Round 3 is that I never actually finished it during 1.8, but actually created some stages for Round 4 instead of some fortress stages. So this will be the first Round of my Classic-style stages to include a stage originally from Mega Man Maker 1.9! But Round 4 will be the last of the 1.8 stages.
Enough about Rounds though, because this stage is unique. It is the second ice-themed stage I have made, and it has a very purposeful layout. Those platforms in the first section are placed so that you can only get across it very skillfully, making the Life hard to get. But it's also kind of a trap because it's easy to fall, and there is an even easier way to reach it: fall from the screen above!
Finding Bass's area gains you a shortcut, and I purposefully put an area of enemies between the Boss checkpoint and the actual Boss. Sneaky, right? This stage is also a lot shorter. Here I began to realize that a small stage with a lot on each screen is better than a big stage with not much on each screen.
