Dr. Phillip finds a hidden gem mine located in an unexplored area. Needing some money, he explores the cave hoping to collect gems to sell so he can rebuild and repair his old fortress/shop. Little does he know, the cave is actually a trap built by Wily to kidnap Dr. Phillip and steal his robot designs for world domination.

Strophe, Dr. Phillip's mechanical assistant robot who left after he tried to take over the great lakes, had a hunch that something was wrong when she returned to Dr. Phillip's old fortress/workshop finding it had been abandoned.
She snooped around the fortress finding a note stating that Dr. Phillip went off to explore an old gem mine he located
somewhere in the nearby forest. She immediately knows something is wrong as there isn't even a single gem mine located near this pace.

She tries to locate this supposed gem mine to find Dr. Phillip when suddenly, almost out of nowhere, rogue robots start attacking the nearby city.
Strophe immediately heads out to Light Labs to get Mega Man's help as she believes the destruction could be related to Dr. Phillip's disappearance. She walks onto the front lawn only to find Mega Man barreling towards the city.

She decides to tag along as she needs Mega Man's help finding the
missing doctor, maybe she could also help out Mega Man with the evil robots as well.

This level was made around 1.9's launch date so it uses a lot of decorations in the stage. I might have overdone it a bit...
