Description of that level
Version 2: Enemy placement modified. Minor screen adjustments.
Megaman Adventure 3 is my third level set fully created by me. I am very proud of how the levels have come together in this particular set, and will feature a total of 12 levels. If you end up enjoying this one, feel free to try Megaman Adventure 1 and 2 / or Megaman Voyage co-developed by my brother and I (his name as Obderhode)! I've always loved Megaman games but tend to find most of the main series (outside of 9-11) a bit too easy most of the time, so I tend to really focus on enemy placement and fun mechanics! I never try to be too challenging and I'm generally very nice with checkpoints!
Level Theme: Speed Course: This ends up being one of my favorite levels of this set. The theme speed course implies that you should look to move quickly / and this will test your reaction time slightly. The theme on this one teaches you right away that the orange platforms carry you right, and the green carries you up. This gets paired with some fun enemy placement, flames to help time your jump, and some crates that they will help you carry. This level has some slight puzzle components to some screens (but I hope they aren't annoying, more so that really creative as I think they are). When I developed my 3rd game, I wanted each boss encounter to feel unique. I enjoy how you will just run into Quick Man here - and you need to let him down using the Astro Gates.
