Story

The world has been running out of resources in the current decade, 205X. However, a new planet was discovered containing all valuable minerals found on earth, but the conditions are too harsh for a human to last. The government tasked the world's best robotics creators with putting together a team for retrieving minerals. Dr. Wily and Dr. Light both volunteered immediately, both with different intents. Mega Man, who was tasked with being a late scout finds that some of the planets minerals are actually alive and have the ability to corrupt any machine it comes in contact with. However it was too late to warn the rest of the scouts. So now, Mega Man must shoot jump and slide his way through this newly discovered planet and avoid losing himself to the dangerous sentient crystals.

(The level takes a metroid-esk approach at a metroidvania styled level. Lots of vertical sections, some platforming and a handful of etanks to search for. There are also 8 weapons for you to collect, 6 are required 2 are extra, as well as one utility.)
