Description of that level

Megaman Quest is intended to be a full 8 stage, 4 fortress game. The intention is to play the 8 boss stages in any order, unlocking their power in subsequent stages. My goal was to create a little longer than traditional Mega Man stages (around 35-45 screens). Each main stage should be completable with no damage with just the Mega Buster, with some obviously being easier than others to no damage with the buster alone. The stages are also harder than most Mega Man games but I really did try to make them fun and fair challenges. I don't think any stage ended up feeling unfair and I'm proud of the result.

This is an easier version of the original stage. While I didn't change much, there were a few areas where after consideration, I thought it was only easy because I knew what was coming. With the changes, I think the level is more fair and balanced.

There are secrets in certain stages, most requiring one power. The big secrets, being Tango and Power Adapter come from Crystal Man / Sheep man respectively. To obtain Tango, all you need is Ice Wall in the Crystal Mines stage. To get the Power Adaptor, you'd need Ice Wall / Flame Sword / Tango and it comes from the Moon Transmission stage. The fortress stages do ramp up the difficulty some and it is highly encouraged to use your whole arsenal to get through. However, they still can be completed buster only minus the few screens that require Ice Wall to progress. My recommended stage order (for easiest time / no backtracking if you play it where you unlock Tango/Power Adapter the intended way) would be...

Cold then Fire then Crystal then Sheep then Pirate then Wood then Quick then Bounce

Boss Weaknesses:

Cold - Flame Sword
Fire - Crystal Eye
Crystal - Tango / Leaf Shield
Sheep - Bouncy Ball
Pirate - Thunder Wool
Wood - Danger Wrap
Quick - Ice Wall / Tango (but better off using Mega Buster)
Bounce - Shadow Blade
Fortress Reoccurring Boss (DarkMan) - Thunder Wool
Fortress 1 - Danger Wrap
Fortress 2 - Flame Sword
Fortress 3 - Super Arrow / Leaf Shield
Wily - Danger Wrap
???? - Power Adapter
