Description of that level
Megaman Adventure 3 is my third level set fully created by me. I am very proud of how the levels have come together in this particular set, and will feature a total of 12 levels. If you end up enjoying this one, feel free to try Megaman Adventure 1 and 2 / or Megaman Voyage co-developed by my brother and I (his name as Obderhode)! I've always loved Megaman games but tend to find most of the main series (outside of 9-11) a bit too easy most of the time, so I tend to really focus on enemy placement and fun mechanics! I never try to be too challenging and I'm generally very nice with checkpoints!
Level Theme: Mining Melancholy: This level is as faithful of the stage, Squawk's Shaft, in Donkey Kong Country 2 as I could get. I hope the level is apparent as you play it. All 4 "Bonus Barrel locations are here along with Bass appearing playable for a section to represent the ability to do vertical platforming that Squawk's brought. When I developed my 3rd game, I wanted each boss encounter to feel unique. Crystal Man's room is decently challenging - as he is very exploitable if you can stay right near him. So the bouncing balls help him get away so he fires a few more crystal eyes atleast! You also can earn quite a few E-tanks in this level too... :D
