That stage, I don't know. I feel like you're not taking your philosophy seriously enough. Like, you want these open levels but they're not really designed like an "open" level. Your stage would be better if you removed the vertical scrolling and made it single screens instead. The vertical scrolling takes away from it, not add. There are so many awkward enemy placements, some repawning enemies, backgrounds that get cut off weirdly. Just stop making this open crap..
