this level has parts that are based off of castlevania: bloodlines the interior section is based off stage 1 of the game up until the miniboss the section after that is based off parts of stage 5. as for lore shade man, crash man, and charge man have taken dr. light to the remains of dracula's castle (shade man's plan not dr wily's) and has remodeled parts of it to have an open courtyard. upon the defeat of shade man you find whats left of dr. light it seems in his final moments he spelt out one word... RUN. upon reading this crash man comes out with the intent to make sure you don't return to relay the news of everything that has happened.
